What should i wear to a 90s party?

my school has a 90s party coming up and i want to go but i don't know what to wear . i personally think the 90s fashion is too close to the fashion today . but my friends keep telling me that the early 90s fashion is really different and that i should research it on Google but Google only give you a few stuff and the fest is just late 90s fashion . that i stared looking up stuff like the fresh prince of Bel air and that gave me a couple of ideas .. so so far the only idea i have is overalls
