How do i get my girlfriend back?

ok so i kind of ruined my relationship by being to jealous and getting mad about dumb stuff, i really want her back and im ready to change, she said she wants time and space, but im afraid someone will jump in and take my spot, what can i do? oh and we live 8 hours apart...
