How to open a pickle jar the easy way?

k so, i LOVE pickles ! and i could never figure out how 2 open the jar by myself. so one day i was being stupid and i went outside of my house and in my back yard and went by a piece of cement and i tipped the jar upside down, and hit it against the cement, as soon as i did that the lip popped open (: and ive been opening pickle jars like that since. but dont hit it 2 hard, or so soft.
