AUSTRALIA TO BALI >BALI TO AUSTRALIA ON A BRITISH PASSPORT?

ok i am a dual citizen (Aus and British) now my aus passport is Expired, my British is good to go. now will i have a trouble getting to bali, or primarily just getting back in with my British passport and a expired Australian, Australian 1 is only 2 months outta date. i have my expired aus passport and citizenship documents, surly if i get stopped coming back in they will b ok to get me back in, didnt check my Australian passport. so now im in this pickle any help would b great
